Junction Modification Design and Supervision – Al Yasmina, Abu Dhabi

Project overview

Super Arc Consultant (SAC) designed and supervised the modification of the Al Yasmina School junction in Abu Dhabi for ALDAR and HILALCO. The work had a tight timeline, limited space and many activities running together.

Exposing, relocating and protecting existing utilities.

Ground improvement.

Construction of a new road.

Overlay of existing roads.

Value delivered

The junction was modified next to an operating school within a short programme and a confined work area.

Engineering context

Changing a junction beside a school requires careful attention to pedestrian safety, peak traffic and live utilities. Phasing and supervision help to keep the road and school operating safely during the work.
