Boundary Wall Design and Approvals for a Public Park – Abu Dhabi

Project overview

Part of a public park’s boundary wall in Abu Dhabi had to be demolished and rebuilt because of its proximity to a gantry footing. Super Arc Consultant (SAC) provided the design and authority approvals for HILALCO.

Scope of work

Detailed design of the shared path landscape and the boundary wall structure.

A boundary wall geotechnical study.

Road safety audit stages 1 and 2.

Design NOC, IDAS and TPD submissions and approvals.

Value delivered

The wall was redesigned around the gantry footing, with the authority approvals handled by one consultant.

Engineering context

Work beside a public road and path has to protect safety as well as structure. A road safety audit and early authority coordination help the design meet those requirements.
