Project overview

Super Arc Engineering Construction (SAEC) designed and built the bored piles for a proposed mosque in Ain Al Fayda, Al Ain. The client was Dubai Oasis.

Scope of work

Design of the bored pile foundation.

Construction of the bored piles on site.

Value delivered

Handling both design and construction under one contractor kept the foundation work in a single scope for the client.

Engineering context

Mosques often combine large open prayer halls with concentrated column loads, so the foundation layout is an early design decision. Bored piles can carry those loads down to a stronger layer. Keeping design and construction together also lets site findings go straight back to the designer.
