Project overview

MUSANADA commissioned Super Arc Consultant (SAC) to investigate ground settlement and wall cracking at Al Danah School, Abu Dhabi.

Scope of work

Review of the existing project documents.

Planning and execution of geotechnical surveys.

Geophysical surveys to identify the ground hazards behind the settlement.

Value delivered

The investigation linked the cracking to its ground causes, which the school needed before repairing the walls.

Engineering context

Wall cracking may be a symptom of movement in the ground. Geotechnical and geophysical surveys help to identify that cause, so repairs do not stop at the visible cracks.
