Super Arc Consultant (SAC) planned, supervised and carried out a geotechnical investigation for roads and infrastructure in Mohamed Bin Zayed City for MUSANADA, to Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements.

Scope of work

Planning and supervision of the field investigation.

Execution of the investigation.

A geotechnical report covering soil conditions, geotechnical hazards and engineering recommendations.

Value delivered

The report gave the road and infrastructure designers the ground data and recommendations they needed for the specified zones.

Engineering context

Roads and infrastructure extend across a wide area, so ground conditions can change along their routes. A planned investigation gives designers data for earthworks, pavements and buried services, and shows where conditions may need particular attention.
