Project overview

Super Arc Engineering Construction (SAEC) carried out the piling works for the potable water and recycled water pump stations on Ramhan Island for HILALCO.

Scope of work

Piling works for the potable water pump station.

Piling works for the recycled water pump station.

Value delivered

Both pump stations were given pile foundations as part of the island's utility infrastructure.

Engineering context

Pump stations combine heavy structures, water-retaining elements and vibrating equipment, and their pipe connections are sensitive to movement. Pile foundations help limit settlement, which is particularly important on coastal sites with high groundwater.
