Project overview

Super Arc Engineering Construction (SAEC) installed 120 micropiles for warehouses in Abu Dhabi for OZUM.

Scope of work

Drilling and casing of 120 micropiles.

Installation of reinforcement.

Grouting.

Testing of the micropiles.

Value delivered

All 120 micropiles were installed and tested, giving the warehouses a foundation verified on site.

Engineering context

Micropiles are drilled at a small diameter, so compact rigs can install them where space or access is limited. Grouting bonds each pile to the surrounding ground, and testing checks that the piles provide the required capacity.
