Super Arc Engineering Construction (SAEC) installed cast-in-situ bored piles for pole foundations along the Mid-Island Parkway on Saadiyat Island for Dogos Construction.

Drilling of the pile bores.

Casing of the bores.

Installation of reinforcement cages.

The parkway poles were given pile foundations installed along an active road corridor.

Engineering context

Poles along a road corridor need foundations that can be built in a narrow working area. Cast-in-situ bored piles have a small footprint, and casing supports the bore through loose ground near the surface.
