Super Arc Consultant (SAC) was the specialist consultant for the geotechnical assessment and soil improvement for track modification works at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi.
Scope of work
Geotechnical assessment of the track modification area.
Design of the soil improvement works.
Supervision of the soil improvement works.
Value delivered
Design and supervision were handled by the same consultant, which kept the work moving to a race-circuit programme.
Engineering context
A race track has tight tolerances for level and surface performance, so ground movement matters. Assessing the ground and supervising improvement works helps the modified track perform as designed.
