Project overview
Since 2019, telecom contractors have engaged Super Arc Consultant (SAC) for the foundations of hundreds of GSM towers and monopoles across the UAE. This ongoing work is carried out for Etisalat and du.
Scope of work
Foundation design for GSM towers and monopoles.
Supervision of civil works.
Technical support.
Permitting.

The work covers sites in both urban and remote areas, using one consultant for design, supervision and permits.
Engineering context
Telecom towers are tall and relatively light, so wind can create overturning and uplift in their foundations. Sites also vary between urban and remote locations, which makes repeatable design and careful local checks important.
